
The wildPortfolio module provides the ability to list projects in either a ‘Portfolio List’, which is 'images and text' format or an 'Image Only' format. Both of these optionally provide the ability to access more details on a separate page, through a 'more...' link option or you can use the image as the link to the details page.
The wildPortfolio module set-up options are modified through the ‘Portfolio Options’ page in DNN 2, and the ‘Settings’ page in DNN 3/4.
The wildPortfolio module contains 4 web user controls, designed and developed for the DotNetNuke (DNN) 2, 3, and 4 environments.
The user controls are :
- Adding/Editing Projects
- Uploading Images
- Edit Templates and
- Portfolio Options (DNN2)/Settings (DNN3/4).
Features:
- Portfolio List with images or Images Only List
- Details Page:
- Can be displayed within the same page as List (see Details in Container)
- Configure Portfolio List and Details page content by clicking on checkboxes
- Labels can be over-ridden, or suppressed OR
- Enable and edit Templates for the Details page and Portfolio List or Images Only, using HTML and any of the 50 plus Tokens (see Template Tokens)
- Links:
- Links can be External URLs or Internal Tabs
- Links can be disabled, which allows you to turn the module into a Photo Gallery
- Images can be used to link to URL or details page
- Images:
- Upload images/graphics using 'Upload Images' or single images through the Add/Edit Project page. Recommend using this method to upload pictures to the appropriate folder, since it will re-size each of the images to fit into the default dimensions. For details see Images below.
- Image layout can be either landscape or portrait within the same module
- Upload images in a zip file, will be re-sized to settings in Portfolio Options for module
- Images can be positioned on the left, right or alternated from side to side
- Turn images off or on in the Portfolio list and/or the Details page
- Specify which text to be displayed above and below image in Images Only, or none
- Paging is implemented
- indicate the number of projects displayed per page
- CSS styling
- There are a number of classes that can be altered
- set background and alternate colors in RGB
- indicate a class for background and alternate background
- styles for paging links
- Horizontal rule can be placed above or below or both
